I contracted with American Painting Company to have my house in Boxford painted. Todd Durocher was a pleasure to deal with. He provided an estimate just two days after my initial phone call, was courteous and professional in our contract negotiations, and kept all of his commitments regarding communications and timelines.

Todd and his crew did a fabulous job on the house. While the work was being conducted (powerwashing, hand scraping and two coats of stain) my yard and home were barely disturbed. Drop cloths were used to protect landscaping and property, ladders and painting supplies were all put away every day, and I never felt inconvenienced or bothered by the crew or by the painting process.

The foreman and crew were extremely pleasant and proficient. They made a point to check in every day and make sure I was happy with everything and ask if I had any requests or concerns. Their conversation and language among themselves was "G-rated" ... as I worked in my home office I was never offended by what I overheard.

There was only one issue during the project that required fixing. The color I had chosen for the front door just didn't look right once it was painted. Todd and his foreman were happy to try a different color for me. Unfortunately, the second color of my choosing also didn't look right to me, and once again both Todd and his foreman were very pleasant and helpful in pulling out more color charts and finding a color I would be happy with. The third time was the charm ... and I was grateful for their patience and their concern that I get exactly what I wanted.

The final result on the house is gorgeous! Their care in preparing the house and applying the stain has made my home look new again. And I have the best looking front door in town!

I highly recommend American Painting Company for its quality work, professional and friendly workmanship, and care for the customer.
